Well if you like each other, there must be something you like about each other. There must be some shared interest of some sort. Buy something you know you would like, and give that to him.

well find out what he likes and then come up with ideas and whichever you think he’d like the most get him or else just ask him you’d be suprised I wouldv’e bought the guy I like the wrong present if I didn’t ask him
