What should I do when I am babysiting?

Usually when I babysit the parents tell me where all the basic stuff is and to punish them if they are bad… But not to spank pretty much time out or whatever. Make sure when they are hungry they are fed and thirsty they have something to drink..and even if they don’t want to take naps at a toddler age you have to go with it and tell them to shut their eyes and check on them every now and then. Maybe you could consider taking a babysitting class.

you basically take care of the kid and act like its parent while there away the things you need to do depend on how old the kid is if its a baby, youll need to know how to feed it, what temperature milk it needs, how to prepare baby food, change nappies, ect so dont take that on if you don know how to do it if ts a child then probably keeping an eye on it, amusing it (playing games, watching tv, ect) and preparing meals or getting them for the kid if its pretty grown up and knows how to basically care for itself then you just watch over it and make sure it doesnt get into trouble

the best is when the mom your babysitting for is a total control freak and plans out the wole day for you. I babysit two days a week in the summer and thats how the mama is.(:
