what should I do to be prepared for cheerleading?

so when 10-11 school year starts I want to try out for cheerleading..I used to do gymnastics when I was like 10 but kinda lost my flexibility.. what should I do in order to prepare for tryouts? (this is highschool cheering.. its my last year in highschool woo!:D )

probb try to get your like backhandspring back if you had it? hah, I don’t know what all the other girls on your squad have, but get up to theiirr level. & be able to do jumps. the more flexible you are, the easier it’ll be (: practiceee the dance for tryouts if you’ve learned it yet? practice it like every seconnd (: you’lll do fine.

you should find out the requirements for making the team and talk to the coach and cheerleaders that were on the team previous years. the flexibility really isnt that big but make sure you can do the basics. for your jumps right and left hurkey and toe touch.make sure you have the right form, prep, and on your execution keep toes pointed!! stay tight and hit all fo your motion sharply! keep a smile on your face and if you mess up (doubt it) you can keep going like it never happened or either ask the judges if you can start over most of them are really nice and will allow you to do so unless its a rule…like ii asked one judge where she got her boots cause they were really cute! lol well if ya need anything else let me know :))
