What should I do...I need help withh a boyy ?

So I like this guy at my school we’ve been talking for like a week or so but not anything that had to do with relationships anyway I really like him and from what my friends tell me hes”feelin me” so I guess he likes me too … The other day he even went out of his way to talk to me and he made me feel special. I think he wants to commit but when I see him in school he hardly acknowledges me I asked him and he says he has a short attention span which is believable -this is the truth soo I wanted to know if I should tell him about my feelings to or just continue to wait.. Also any other advice is welcome :) ohh and im 16 and hes 16 too plus he seems really genuine not fake or trying to use me
