I'm starting to think about what I should do for my future career: my father has tought me almost every detail to machinery & construction, my cousin Justin is teaching me everything he knows from his current national guard camps and is training to become a combat ranger because I was thinking about joining the army. But on top of it all, my dream of being a musician is really good so far and I am thinking about working as an automotive factory worker because of I have been building cars and such since I was 8 years old. any ideas?
It sounds like you have some skills in different trades to use when and if you need them. If music is really your dream and you don't have any dependants, pursue it zealously. Life is short and so on. Most musicians have to work a regular job anyway, at least part time, so maybe work in a shop or a slab through the day and play at night. And sleep somewhere in between.
How about doing all three. Join the army and specialize in machinery & ocnstruction, and as a hobby playing your music for your army buddies! :o)
What ever you decide to do, I can imagine you'll be good at it. God bless
you should try to be a musician if you want to be. just follow your dreams. if you are crazy enough, you can be what you want to be. just trust me. All it take is hard work and enthusiasm.
Sit down and weigh the plusses and minuses of all three and come to a decision.
