What makes a likable cartoon character?
Hey im kinda getting into animation (mostly stop motion but id figure id try a hand drawed one for fun) and what makes a likable cartoon character and why?
anime characters are popular fantasy characters a lot of people love to use cartoons as a way to escape there reality and explore a fantasy world and ones people can relkate too but because peoples opinions vary so much youll find people that relate to anything really just try studying popular cartoons and see what they specialize in from something bizzare like ren and stimpy to something funny like family guy
well personally I would look at characters on t.v and see what things those characters have in common with real people. AMerican dad and Peter Griffen are both set in there ways, like my dad. Also the mother of both are always dealing with there family in ways they dont really have to and there pretty gullable also like most moms I have ever met.
