What is wrong with my fish, it is acting funny?

Do you have water conditioner? With out it the clorine in the water can burn its gills, I suggest going to get some if you dont, it can burn fast.

I think the fish is just scared cause you changed its water and its a fish I dont think he knows why you did that.

my moms fish did the same thing but I think it was because my mom forgot to feed them so I fed them and they started moving round but also with fish we had before when we change the tank or clean it we have to let the water sit a while before puttin them in it that may be it.. where did you get the fish from??

your fish might just be stressed out, there’s stress relive drops you coul use you just add a couple drops in the water whenever you change the water, if you’re using bottled water you shouldn’t worry about the chlorine and metals in the water, or next time when you change the water if it’s not super dirty try only changing half of it and just do it more regularly,

no I dont have a filter. the only thing that pollutes the tank tho is the feces, I dont feed him any more than he needs.

the fish is just a calico goldfish. nothing special. but I would like him to live lol
