Although Las Vegas Sands Corporation claims that Sands Macao is the largest casino in the world, it is only their claim and their reasoning is that they have the most table games, which at 740 is about 250 more than Foxwoods which has just under 500 (114 being Poker). If you consider the entire casino, which includes table games and slots, Foxwoods is still the biggest in the world. Here are the stats… Sands Macao - Table Games 740, Slots 1254, gaming floor space 229,000 sq ft. Foxwoods - Table Games just uner 500, Slots 7200, gaming floor 340,000 sq ft Sands Macao is actually third behind Mohegan Sun (also in Conneticut) which has 300,000 sq ft of gaming space including over 300 table games and 6400 slots. Also, Sands Macao’s entire property is just under 1 Million Sq Ft where Foxwoods entire complex encompasses 4.7 Million sq ft. FYI, Asian players prefer tables to slots, hence the unusually high number of slots to tables ratio, but as we who are in the industry know, in North America, slot revenue is usually double that of table games revenue.

Sands Macao is owned by Sheldon Adelson, who owns the Venetian in Las Vegas. However, the Sands Macao is in Macao, China. The largest casino in the United States is Foxwoods in Connecticut. The largest casino HOTEL in the world is the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, with over 5,000 rooms.

I think it’s the Venetian in Macau
