What is the proper way to trim a moneytree

I have been my pruning my money tree(1 year old) and have noticed that some of the shoots have forked into a why shape. Do I let both ends grow or do I cut one? And if cut one, which one do I choose?

Hi,

Yes.

Regular pruning and trimming of larger leaves and stems will encourage new growth and help keep the leaves on your tree smaller. The desired result is a canopy effect that is somewhat triangular in shape. Pick the larger of the stem making the why and then prune that one.
