What is really going on with this guy ?

ok I know this may be a little long sorry but I just must know.

there’s this guy I liked last semester he always would give me this look like he was real focused like he couldnt keep his eyes off me and somtimes would add a smile

and mess with the guy that I was just friends with and try to figure out if I went with him and the other guy I talk to when I laughed at jokes people made about him which wasnt that serious other where laughing to he only get mad at me and once the student aid said he wanted my number just gave me the normal stare he give me and one day he had the nerve to talk to me and he kept messing with me and would stop and the teacher asked why I said cause he love to talk to me and he said nothing just turned around while his boys said ooow (his name) then later he starts back messing with me and then give me a mean look when I take too long on a test what does this mean?
