What is it like to work with children?
what is the challenge with working with children.
um …children dont always listen…different children have veriaties of different problems/alergies/deseases and so on…different children have different sleeping patterns they could be calm, hyper, mean, anoying or they could be drama queens…i could keep going on :)
Dear eddy, You’ve asked me to answer this question so I will assume you are thinking about doing this on a professional level. I work mostly with children who have behavioural problems. It is very challenging but very rewarding as well. It isn’t for the faint at heart though since you have to be assertive, consistant and very gentle all at the same time. Children usually have their personality set by the time they are five so when you have a child that had a difficult life during that time it is very difficult to have them rethink the way they deal with actions and reactions. But one thing for sure they all want the same thing; to be accepted and loved. Sue…good luck
