Comfort food! Its when your so emotional and just sit down and you start eating and don’t want to stop. Its usually fattening food. I went through a bad break up and I kept eating spoonfuls of hot chocolate powder while sitting on my couch watching movies all day. Your pretty much too depressed to do anything else.
Eatting is supposed to make you happy and boost you up but when your emotions get too low , for some the ony solution they see is eatting and getting that happiness back. It’s like a drug and can be just as fatal in extremes.
Eating after a conflict or event. It doesn’t matter what. It’s going home and eating until your thoughts are overcome with the amusement of the food you are taking in.
Suggestion: Exercise. I think emotional EXERCISE sounds better than… Emotional Eating.

eating to overcome your problems when you eat and you sad/depressed usually …went through a hard time, break up, lost your job, just feel crap, nothing better to do ect say…instead of reading a book or something, you eat even eating when your bored pretty much when you deal with your problems by eating food and it doesnt matter what food you eat either just any food
