What is better? Pro tools or logic?

Im looking for a new recording program so I can record my music. Pro tools and logic seem very popular and I’ve heard some peoples music who use these programs and its sound clear and good. I heard pro tools was hard to use. Which one is the best to get? Do you have to have an apple computer to use both of these?

logic studio looks like its mac only to me

pro tools looks like its pc and mac

most companys will give you a 30 day demo so have a look for them on their sites and try before you buy
