amazon, because anybody can sell their stuff on ebay, which means there are more chances of getting ripped off or scammed by some loser. on amazon the sellers are really exclusive and 99.99% of the time safe.

Ebay because there is great variety. When you buy on ebay there is a feature called feedback where buyers tell about their experience with the seller So be careful who you buy from. I sell on ebay and have made over 600 transactions and maintain a 100% positive feedback
