What is a good/easy way to memorize things?

My teacher makes my class memorize prayers and recite them for marks, I’m not very good at memorizing but I’ve found one good way to do it, I write it down a few times, if you have any good ways to memorize stuff please tell me.

Make up a short song to a song you know lol. Like this :
