What is a good brand of tools for me to buy?

I’m 15, and plan on buying a tools kit or asking for one for Christmas. It would be my first one. I want to have one with at least a 1/4 and 3/8 ratchets, and all the sockets, and some Alan keys, screwdrivers, and some wrenches. I’ve seen a lot about this Evolve brand from Sears. I was wondering if anyone had any opinions or experience with these tools. Do they have the same guarantee as Craftsman? Like if it breaks you bring it back and get a new one? Or do you just suggest Craftsman? Help anyone?? PLEASE and thank you, and don’t give me silly answers, answers from a mechanic or someone with knowledge of tools would be nice(:

Kobalt is pretty good to. also have a lifetime grantee. if you break any Kobalt tool, you take it to any Lowes and they give you a new one.

Answer #2

They would be used often I do body work on cars which requires a lot of taking apart and putting back together.

Answer #3

You’re obviously someone who wants to use these often, since you’re looking for quality. I’d personally go with Craftsman, because it is tried and true and has years of reputation behind it.

If you don’t use them often, a cheap set would be fine.

Answer #4

Oh yeah go with Craftsman.
