What if I have feelings for my best friend who is a girl?

Me and my…well my ex-best friend have known each other for 8 years. And during those 8 years, she told me that she was bi. When she told me this I didnt think much of it, it wasnt going to change our relationship. So as time went on, I started to feel this feeling that I should be feeling with a guy rather than with my best friend. I told a friend about it and she suggested that I tell her how I really felt. So I did, and it didnt work out the way I thought it would. She wont talk to me in person only over Myspace which to me is a cop out, because she doesnt want to tell me how she really feels about the whole situation. So my question is what should I do now, should I continue to try and pursue her or should I just leave it alone and let her come to me on her own time?? ALL ADVICE IS APPRECIATED!!!

the only reason why I told her was because I thought she had a thing for me too just because of the little things that she would do it just seemed like she had the same feelings and I kinda think she does but thats probably just wishful thinking lol im just really confused!!

Well if you really like her, you should continue to pursue her, but if you think it is going to intefere with the relationship even more, then let it go, attempt to get her number, and call or text, but anyhow, funmail with any questions.. :]

you should leave it alone because you must have freaked her out when you told her and she doesnt want to hurt your feelings by telling you she dont like you that way

I think you should just leave it alone and let her come to you. she could be scared about the whole situation. Most times when people fall for friends they are scared something will happen if you guys were to break up.
