What happens if had termination once, can I still have kids?
I was 23 when I had an abortion with my ex.. I am now 30 and me and hubby are planning on trying for a baby. Im really worried tho.. Me having had this termination can this effect on me getting preggers?
You may or may not be able to. Most people are able to get pregnant after an abortion, but some people can not. Usually you only risk becoming infertile after an abortion if an infection occured.
The chances are small of it bringing up problems but it does and can happen.
Yes you can still have a baby, a D&C will not prevent you from carrying again nor will having taken the abortion pill. I know someone who decided to have a miscarriage by taking the abortion pill and still became pregnant almost a year and a half later and carried to term. She also suffered a miscarriage, and had an emergency D&C, only to end up pregnant 6 weeks later and carrying to term again. Both babies are healthy and fine (a year old and the other is almost three). So good luck and best wish on a safe, happy, and healthy pregnancy!
