Christmas is great, essentially its just a celebration which increases the economy over the festive period, a general decrease in most crimes (although robberies and drunk driving crimes increase) It’s not really about religion any more. Even if there was a person born called jesus, the ordering of the months has changed so much that Christmas day isn’t his actual birthday, that is, if he existed in the first place. To sum up, Christmas makes people happier, boosts economy, decreases crime and so everyone’s a winner. If you think about it, these are the real reasons we celebrate it each year. Merry Christmas :)

I dont know what you are saying. People still love christmas. Eventhough I’m muslim. I still really care about christmas. All my friends put up trees and lights and all of them arre Muslim. Here un Egypt. In christmas day everyone is having fun and there are lights, candels, sweeties everywhere.

People are to much into real things instead of spirit and being happy, they want gifts and to make every thing happen and do not take the time to slow down and really enjoy the fun and goodness of it.

Oh and Christmas is NOT Jesus’s real birth day xD read your bibles people, it does not really say what month he was born in but it dose say that flowers were just opening, and animals were out and about. That is not winter, that’s spring.

Im mean even though people dont have a lot of money now days , its not bout that. Its bout being with each other the ones you love. My boyfriend of 1year and 2 months is now in boston im in florida so I dont really care if I dont get anything what so evrr. All I want is to be with him they one I LOVE! And my b day is the 22nd of dec.

My famely is like they don care because day is like we don got money so suck it up. and also day say that our famely is f*ked up even dough on the 25th is my birthday!

Get a Bible and look it up it say so in the Holy Book of God.

How appropriate is your nic, ‘there aren’t no sunshine when your gone’ - not everyone celebrates Christmas by putting Jesus first so easy off acting like there are buzzing bees under your bloody bonnet, where is your warmth and nice Christmas spirit missy. ;)

Christmas eve is much better then the actual Christmas day for us…We spend the night before Christmas with friends and families and end up drinking and being merry right up to Christmas.

P.S. in some public schools in Australia they do not encourage students to sing Christmas carols so not to offend other students who do not celebrate C.D, so parents either deal with this or shift their kids off to another school.

hahah! well I guess people finally got sick of telling their children about Santa. Also, christmas costs a lot of money. with all the family members and everything. most of us are on a low budget. especially this year. of course the traditions are nice but as a past jehovah’s witness I was tought that all holidays were bad and that jesus’s birthday wasn’t even on christmas. in fact… in some places like asia, people celebrate christmas on the month of january I believe. this reminds me, I have to do more research on the holidays. thanx.

Unfortunately, Santa got sick this year, so they had to cancel Christmas. That’s why no-one has the spirit.

Nowadays people are more in to material things and less in to religion:(

perhaps because there isnt much a point to it because its not jesuss birthday.
