I’ve been in those before lol. someone sees you do something but tells you they wont ask why you did it as long as you dont talk about it. its kinda like a “im gonna pretend I didnt see that” situation. hope I helped

“Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” is the military policy that they won’t ask your sexual orientation, if you don’t tell them.

It’s been spread to basically cover any situation where you don’t want to know the answer, so don’t tell you.
