What Does a Punk Mean? like.. what would a punk look like..?

Is nothing but a genre, I like black… I wear black… does it mean I’m emo? NO It mean I like the color black!

Punk ois a genre of music. You can’t look punk. People think they can, but no. Yes, a lot of people will say mohawks and studded belts and blah blah, but you don’t have to look a certian way to listen to punk music. Same with metal. I’m so tired of hearing things like that. UGH!

punk started in the 70s (but could have been underground before then) but as time went on people got more spoiled, needy, greedy, and completely destroyed it, by doing stupid shit like asking the question you did.

punk is a mind set not a genre punk music is music about anti establisment stuff like if you know crass that is punk if you know jeffrey lewis that punk clothes wont make you punk you gotta live the life you want then youll find your place, so please do not make a mockery of punk by trying to “be” it you wont if you do that because punk wouldn’t want you to do that. In short be who you want there is no reason to be someone you aren’t. and for clothes where whats comfortable, all year round i wear a t-shirt, cargo pants or shorts and a hoodie/flanel or whatever when it gets colder out, in short be you.
