What do you think of this idea for cat litter?

Kay so I just did the cat litter..eww, it was discusting!!!

An idea for a little box would be; When the litter box gets a few pounds heaver(when the cat jumps in), it triggers a scent spray. So when the litter box gets lighter(cats hops out), it releases the trigger and spray comes out of a few holes located in the cat litter. Im sure it would minimize the smell by a lot..

This probably won’t help but to reduce getting close to the litter you can get litter trays that once turned round 360’ all litter will fall into a little draw. but I think your idea is great.

Answer #2

I can tell ya, my cat wouldn’t get into the box, if it started spaying everytime he jumped in…cleaning it regularly keeps the smell down…and keeps the cat from using other places…

We use the scoopable litter. It is great. Twice a day I scoop the hidden treasure out and put it in a plastic shoe box from a dollar store and take it outside. No smell, no wasted litter and there isnt any lingering smell. Just make sure you use enough litter so the urine doesnt reach the bottom. Add a scoop every couple of days to make up for the clumps you take out.

litter* haha. And yeah that’s true. But just out of convienience, litter boxes with built in airwick thingys. Not automatic, but hm..detects movement.
