What can I do to get through my bday?

Ok guys I really need your help..whatever I wanted to do for my bday, as usual my mom has said no to everything and I told her I just don’t want to have dinner and for my bday just with a couple of friends… Again my mom can only think of going to dinner so she thought of having a limo pick me and my friends up to go to some place that’s kind of like benijanas but I forgot what its called and it depends on how many people the limo can carry and I don’t really like it but that’s all I can do…so can anyone give me any advice on how to get through the day???

You mean how to get through a day where you’re getting chauffeured by a limo and then spend time with your friends at dinner? I’m not usually one to throw out the perspective card. Mine is not the greatest all the time. But seriously? You have heard of Haiti right? They just had a really big earthquake? Hundreds of thousands of people are dead, more are injured, a million people have no shelter, and you’re whining about having to go in a limo to dinner with your friends? This is how you get through your birthday. You realize that having food and shelter is a blessing. Having parents who tolerate your whining and complaining is a blessing (although it could also be the cause of your complete self absorption and lack of perspective of well reality). And try and appreciate your life!

I’ve never been in a limo before… You sure are lucky that your mom is willing to pay for a limo to cart you and your friends to dinner.

I have an idea, DON’T go on your birthday limo ride, rather sit in a corner and sulk because you actually have a mother who

  1. Is willing to get a LIMO to chauffeur you around
  2. Is actually there
  3. Actually gives you a birthday party

and lastly is willing to put up with your self-absorbed, selfish and TOTALLY ridiculous nonsense.

when your in teh limo do what I see on all films with them in… open the sun roof, put some tuns on, stick your head out and through your hands around..

just enjoy life as you only get 1 :)

I have never heard such a selfish, self absorbed, RIDICULOUS question in my entire life…

I shouldnt speak my mind…but it might help you wake up.

you DONT deserve what you have…at all…I wish only people that could appreciate these blessings would be granted them…not ungratefuls like yourself
