what are some good tips for cutting hair?

I want to cut my hair but I dont really know any good tips. Are they any tips out there that could help me cut my hair better?

okay if you want it simple put it in a pony tail and cut that off it is most likely to be even I think. that is what my grandma did for my mom and her sisters in the eighties and that was normal then so it cannot be that bad. if it is too short for a ponytail just try to make it even but also know that you should not care about the end result because if it looks bad then you would be disappointed. if you want you could have a friend cut it because they can see the back of your head without a mirror. also if it fails horribly be proud of that because it is unique.

First of all cutting your own hair isn’t going to get you that far. It won’t be even…guaranteed. As a hairdresser I see many people who have attempted to cut their own hair and it’s always jacked up and I always have to take more then what they would really like. My advice…go find a salon and pay for the haircut by somebody who attended school.
