What age do you have to be to get a nose job?

If your nose is causing problems, you can get a nose job under-age. My friend’s nose was broken and after that he couldn’t breathe properly, so he got a nose job at 16 to fix it. But that’s different, his was for safety. Your body is always changing and growing until around age 21, sometimes younger, and sometimes older, But doctors and surgeons often won’t come anywhere near a teenager to do unnecessary cosmetic surgery as the bones are still adjusting and shouldn’t be mucked with or could cause serious damage later in life.

Having a full fringe will reduce the appearance of your nose a bit. Also see if you could wear anything to take people’s eyes off your nose. An interesting necklace perhaps. Or dye your hair an odd color. If you have a long face (often goes hand-in-hand with larger noses), try avoiding V neck shirts as often as possible because it gives the illusion of a longer face thus a longer, more protruding nose.

Maybe getting your nose pierced would help break the ice. Only if YOU are comfortable with that though. Don’t do anything you don’t want to do. But it could reduce the train of thought when people look at you. They will think ‘hey she has a nose stud’ not ‘hey she’s got a big nose’.

Nose jobs are very expensive, so I suggest start saving now. You can decide later when you are older. It is a life changing decision and nobody should enforce an opinion on you. This is YOUR body. You have the right to do what you want with it.
