What 2 do my boyfriend is in jail for domestic abuse?

I am 19 I have been with my boyfriend for a year… We care for each other deeply and I feel I could be with him forever he makes my night and day, we had an issue with drinking before this night three months ago..he turned very abusive threatening both our lives..and hurting me quite bad mostly emotional and stress! Its very hard bad intoxicated mistakes :( I talked to him he nos what he did was wrong butt I dont no what to do now…should I forgive and continue praying that we can change for the best of our love or move on… I dont no if I can live with out him this is more than honey,, your young.. I no this I really need help and I have heard that all before this is such a complicated issue for me! Please help

He’s not going to change. It doesn’t matter if he knows it is wrong, he did it anyway! And he will do it again. If you stay with him this is what your life will be. If you have children this is what their life will be. Unfortunetly love can not change or fix this. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is the right thing. You need to take a deep breath, find the strenght inside you and walk away.
