When doctors take blood to look for a certain sickness like mono, can they look for other things like drugs?
a doctors order is required to run ANY tests on blood, so unless he told you he was ordering a drug panel , I wouldn’t be too worried about it..usually drug testing is done by a reference lab which can be expensive (in ma panel goes about 300 bucks ) they wouldn’t spend that money without a good reason…drs are there to help you medically not to get you in trouble…
