I would go and ask his friends for ideas for him. I have a brother and he likes videogames so mane he is into that kind of thing.

Something that he wouldn’t expect, for example a girl at my school got me a present last year for my birthday, it was completly unexpected and it was something I liked, you could ask his friends what he likes, most guys like things related to sports like footballs, things like that, thingk about what he likes. good luck, andy
