Can you plant them near a house foundation? Does it matter?

absolutely. It will not damage. It will grow. The heat from the foundation will nurture it. Water well and check periodically :D Goodluck my friend!

I don’t think they will damage the foudnations, if that’s waht you’re asking. The plants only live for one year, and I think the roots would be safe. However, that sort of area is very often quite dry, and they really do need loads of water…
