Wanting to dye my hair blonde but wondering about the consequences

I used to have quite blonde hair when I was little but as I got to year 10 and 11 in high school my hair went to dark blonde so I experimented with dark brown hair dye and have been that way for about a year and a half. Now I want to go back to blonde but im wondering how to do this. I’ve had blonde highlights in my hair before (both profssionally and store bought) and the colour of them turned out to be fine so im wondering if I had my hairdresser do it straight away could it go wrong ?

As long as your hair dresser does it it should turn out fine. I’ve always heard that if you’re going to dye your hair you should dye it to the color it was when you were a baby…supposedly that is the color that will look most natural on you.
