You know…some of the old folks you are caring for MIGHT get offended if you mimic them. I hope you thought about that. That is as offensive as a person tending to an ethnic minority dressing up like that minority. Remember in the old days how movies took ethnic people and so totally stereotyped them? It was so insulting. I don’t mean to rain on your parade and wreck your fun, but it might save some hurt feelings for you to consider this. I don’t think elderly people WANT to be reminded that they are old, nor do they want to see your vision or interpretation of what YOU think of them. Would you wear a fat suit to a weight watcher’s meeting?

Then again they might think it’s really cute and have a good laugh. I think that if your intentions are good and you are respectful, they will probably think it’s a fun idea! I’m guessing that since you work there, they know you pretty well and will be honnored that you think of them and want to have fun with them. Have fun!

well first of all, i think that is a funny and cute idea. and your in luck because i was in drama class in high school, and one test was to apply old make up on ourselves. and need to say i got an A.. haha well anywho…. take a dark pencil liner (maybe dark brown) and apply to where wrinkles usually occur. ( crows feet, forehead, and your smiling musceles) then blend with a light make up powder…. and for old looking lips, pucker your lips and apply powder on your lips… you are going to look OLD lol… have fun

Answer #4

Try this trick, maybe you can even practice before halloween and try other stuff. Hope this helps:

Old As The Hills - When trying to look old, don’t just draw dark lines on your skin to look like wrinkles. First cover the skin in a lighter than normal color using baby powder or white blemish cover stick. Then draw the dark lines and slightly blend them to the surrounding area with your finger. Then add baby powder to give the skin that old, dry look. You can also use the baby powder in your hair to get that gray look.
