Internet video problems on the computer

Whenever I go to watch I video over the internet whether it be on EbaumsWorld, or just a “Funniest Commercials” site, the videos ends up coming up in strange colours and somewhat strange shapes? I don’t really know how to explain it, so I included a picture. Any help would be appreciated so I can fix this and get on with my video watching!

Sounds like you have conflicts in the flash settings or your bandwidth is being stretched somehow. Check all of your video playing software to make sure that Windows Media and Quicktime are fighting for default player status. Then try visiting macromedia’s flash plugin site and try reinstalling it. If you are using IE make sure that you have a good update from microsoft. If you have Firefox then possibly add the “faster fox” add-on to your browser. This same scenario you describe happened to me just recently and the problem I had was near 10 different video players on my computer and Itunes seemed to add something to make quicktime really mess with my settings. Hope any of this helps.

After you update your software, Flash player, Java, and of course visit Microsoft.com for your computer updates. Then go to Divx.com and download the video player (which will give you all the drivers). Make sure you allow ActiveX controls (they are not ALL bad). Hope this helps.
