Uriter Stent Removal
I just had the basket sugery for kiddney stones.They removed my stones and put a stent in place.It was attached to a long string in which I had to pull out in 5 days..Well today Sunday May 31 2009 I removed it..For the first hour I was fine.Now I am in unbearable pain in my groin area.I am fine if I sit on a blanket with some pressure on the area..I was wondering if anyone has had the same done and if there are any home remidies for the pain and discomfert.The worst part is urinating (sorry cant spell).It burns and is very painfull..If you have any advice please let me know..I would appricate it a lot. My boyfriend had kidney stones and had the stent as well. His doctor prescribed this specific medication for the urine pain that was a little red pill. The pill stained his urine and boxers red (I wish I could remember the name but your doctor should know the name). Once he took the pill within 20 minutes his urine no longer burned.
