How to buy a website domain?

im trying to make an official website, but i dont know how to buy the .com for it

Hi there…

there are several places you can buy a domain name or “.com” from.

99.9% of my domains have been bought here at http://www.godaddy.com

I really recommend them. Do you know that they give me a personal call when my domains come up for renewal?

And sometimes if I have questions and email them, someone will personally call my home to follow up?

They do have really great customer service and their domain prices are fairly reasonable.

The cheapest place to buy domain names I found is (see link) www.cheaper-than-godaddy.com ($6.95) They have 24/7 customer support. You can build your own website and host with them. There interface is easy to use and they can promote your site on the internet. Its great because you can call them and they will help you.Godaddy charges $8.95 for .com and godaddy charges $3.99 per month for hosting www.cheaper-than-go-daddy.com charges the exact same. I have about 30 domains with them with zero problems.Godaddy is a great company but you the exact same service at cheaper-than-godaddy.com for 2 bucks less. I hope this helps good luck

Use a registrar, like networksolutions, godaddy, or yahoo web hosting.
