Trying 4 a baby fallen pregnant but got raped

Hi, me and my boyfriend have been trying 4 a baby again because I miscarried a few months ago. I did a digital test yesterday and this morning which has come up pregnant 1-2 weeks. On 18th this month my drink got spiked and I got taken full advantage of. I am so worried. I took the morning after pill the following monday to the friday the 18th. I took it 58 hours later. I dont know what to do. I also got told that if you are pregnant and take the morning after pill it can cause abdormalities to the unborn baby. Please help xxx

If you are already pregnant you can’t get pregnant again, even if you are only a few weeks into the pregnancy.

Pregnancy test have become a lot more develop over time and can now tell you how far along in your pregnacy you are.. its all to with with something in the urine. Any howw… the morning after pill is effective within 72 hours of having sex althought the later you take it the less effective it can be. However if you do not come on your period when suppose to I would go to the doctors and ask them for there advice as pregnacy can still be and option

So, from what I’m understanding…you took the morning after pill, and you’re still pregnant? How would a pregnancy test determine how far along you are?

Anyway…the morning after pill is basically just a concentrated birth control pill - it gives you the hormone that tricks your body into thinking it’s already pregnant, so naturally, it will have the same effects as being on birth control pills in early pregnancy…the risks are actually quite low to the fetus.

Because you took it so late, it’s likely that the egg was fertilized before the pill had a chance to take effect.
