is it true that when we get a flu shot, they give us the disease too or not?
what do you think I have always heard that, but I dong know if that is true.
In the shot is a dead flu virus. Your cells treat the virus like it is alive and destroy it. Then your body becomes immune to it without actually getting the virus and getting sick. The nasal spray gives you a live virus so you may get some symptoms from that.
Your body doesn’t become immune, but builds up defenses, so that the next time it’s met with that or something similar, it’s already ready to fight it.
