Transferring download from pc to cell

I just bought a download for spy software for my phone. It says I need infrared, bluetooth, mms, or a cable to transfer it to my phone. My phone doesn’t support the first three. does anyone know if all I need is the cable or would I have to get some kind of software to do it this way also

It’s probably done with a simple USB cable, in between your computer and phone.
