How to get rid of too much pubic hair?

I know this is kinda gross but I have a lot of hair down there. I am a 16 year old female and my hair is REALLY long and thick and it goes about an inch down onto my leg. I can’t even wear a bathing suit without shorts because the hair goes out SO far. It’s even long on my leg. Why is it like this? If I shave it the thick hair goes down even farther onto my leg. I guess I can try waxing but I just want to know why I have so much more than everyone else.

Answer #1

for razor bumps and cuts- use a newer razor, use shaving creme or gel, shave 2 strokes going •against• the direction the hair is going and get the rest going the direction the hair is growing.

Answer #2

if it worries you, shave it regularly. you can’t just shave once, and expect it to go away, it has to be a continous thing. but if it doesn’t bother you- just trim it so you can wear shorts.

Answer #3

it has to do with genetics, some people have more hair than others, some people have thicker or thinner hair than others! shave it all off! guys like that sort of thing anyway

Answer #4

Yeah I also have very sensitive skin down there, and when I shave,No matter WHAT I do,I ALWAYS get razor bumps. If you guys get answers, lemme know :]

Answer #5

I also have this similar problem…and I shave it. The problem is I have very sensitive skin and get a lot of razor burn easily or cut, it sucks cause I think I’ve tried lots of things, like making sure I sit in warm water first and using one of those loufa things, I’ve tried hair removal creams (they smell and suck), I really dont want to try waxing down there…I cant imagine the pain. Please help both of us.
