tongue webbing piercings

I’m getting one of my friends to pierce mine next weekend he has pierced like everyones in school and me and my best friend jaimie is next in line. At first I wasn’t going to get it because I thought it would hurt but everyone is sayin it doesn’t…my only question is…is does it cause you to have a lisp? And if so for how long? And how long does it take to heal?

Look, if you really want to get it done, you really should get it PROFESSIONALLY done. So what if this guy’s pierced everyone in school? He is not certified. Just remember this phrase: ‘Sh|t always happens’. Don’t think that nothing will happen to you, because you are just as much at risk with everyone else. He could accidentally pierce a nerve in there that could permanently paralyze your tongue. Or your piercing can get a nasty infection which could scar you for life. And seeing as this guy is not a professional, you can’t hold him accountable, because you’re naive enough to trust in a schoolboy with a needle.

I hope he practices good hygiene and uses new clean and sterile needles, wears gloves, etc. Even the most careful piercer sometimes accidentally spread infections and diseases that stay with you forever, like Hepatitis.

Also, you’re 16, you NEED your parents’ permission to get piercings or tattoos. Don’t think that you’re not going to get into trouble.
