Tomatoes should be watered frequently in the early to mid summer, depends on the weather. NEVER water tomatoes by spraying them, always water by drip hose or using a hose and putting the water down around them. You do not want to get water on the tomato plants. Later in the season, do not water as much, only enough to keep them alive. That way they will have less diseases and you will get more tomatoes late in the season. Make sure you fertilize. Tomatoes are wonderful.
