What are some good themes for a scene/emo sweet sixteen party?

aha yea…i have a slight obsession with zombies…im re doing my room and its zombie themed…im thinking i may go with zombie ball and like have a dress up party

I think a “Zombie Ball” theme would be great!

A few other ideas are:

“Hello Kitty” theme, or even “Emo Hello Kitty” theme.

“Glow in the Dark” theme.

“Monster” theme.

Zombie ball sounds really good and has a lot of potential for different decorations/ food etc. as well as being a real occassion as you can dress up in lovely dresses and suits, but with zombie make up and maybe tears in the clothes and things. It is a very dramatic theme :)

Otherwise, you could try a theme such as ‘underground crypt’ and have it all dusty and old looking and everyone can come as zombies/ skeletons/ vampires. Basically, the undead of their choice :) You could stick fake tombstones on the wall and go really gothic.

You could do something scary like a ‘bloodbath’ or ‘slasher’ theme and have lots of red punch and red jelly etc, and people can wear fake blood. You could make this a mystery party kind of thing and appoint one of your friends as a ‘killer’ to ‘kill’ [they could get a special necklace you make with the word ‘dead’ on it, so you know they have been killed] some guests during the evening which can be fun, as the remaining guests have to look out for who the killer is. First person to figure it out could get a prize, or the killer could get a prize if they fool everyone.

A masked ball would also be good in general and can be really great and dramatic, allowing for big hair and a variety of outfits.

yeah! have the guests dress up as zombies, and rent out a big place [preferably where people can see you like outside]. you’ll get lots of attention and it would be fun! go for it!

im pretty sure thats what im going to do….and i also want to rent a bouncy castle and get like a bunch of glowsticks n stuff with fog machines, bubble machines and strobe lights

I know you said scene/emo…I was thinking a masked party…Creepy masks, decorated and so forth with modern clothes. It’s fun to figure out who is who.

Blood On The Dance Floor is a must have for tunes :)
