The Perfect Proposal

I’m thinking about proposing to my boyfriend since he wants me to and we both want to get married, but I’m having a hard time thinking up a good way. I was thinking just asking him when we’re watching tv or something, but that’s kinda lame. Would a speech do and a nice dinner? any ideas?
