it’s just about a guy who broke up with his girlfriend and feels like his world is falling apart. (and he’s alone on valentine’s day)

This song can be interpreted in anyway you look at it. To me, this song talks about a person in misery after losing a loved one. Hence “and the ground below grew colder, as they put you down inside, but the heartless wind kept blowing.”

Now that he or she has lost their loved one, their life is falling apart. The valentines day they once had can never be enjoyed.

Thats how I see, I don’t know
