Is my dog doing what she should be for her puppies?

I rescued her about 1 year ago from a truck stop..I already have a sweet pitbull cugo mix 69lb 2yr. and I think he is the father..I am a bad parent but my vet wouldnt fix her until she was a yr or over..I went out of town came back to hell…anyway I dont no if she is doing waht she should be doing..they are clean and fat..and she plenty of milk and they dont cry much…I have moved them to another room pulled the carpet up and put plastic down and blankets..that I have to change and wash all day…rosie the mom still follows me all over the house..yes the rest room too…she does not spend that much time with them to me..but I dont no..I just dont no what she should be doing either..when can I put them outside??…when can eat dog food?? drink water?? why would she stay with them?? I just stoped her from sleeping with me sunday..I am slowly putting some distant between us… can you call me??

Can’t call you because I don’t have your number, but if your pups are fat there is a good sign she is doing her job. You should have water with them already, they will drink when they are ready. they can move on to can dog food as soon as their teeth start showing. About 7-8 weeks leave some dry food for them but don’t remove the soft, use it as a supplement. The mother will wean them herself at about 8-10 weeks.
