tan on cloudy day?

I’m going to a small beach in connecticut on monday, and I want to tan so bad! however, it’s going to be cloudy :/ will I even be able to get a tan ? or does it have to be direct sunlight ?

u can still get tan.. it wont feel like it bc your skin wont feel hot but you really are tanning
