Will anything happen if pee gets your tampon string wet?

if it worries you about getting your tampon string wet with urine then change it , i normally change it whenever i go to the loo.

from a guys point of view you should change it

Hello helpme1224. Your question is not stupid and you are not dumb. Urine is sterile. If a little bit gets on the string when using the bathroom, it will not hurt you. It may feel uncomfortable because it is wet laying against your skin. You do not have to change the tampon if it is not time to change unless you prefer to since the string will be wet. Make sure to practice good hygiene, wiping from front to back always and washing your hands after using the bathroom.

nope! a tampon will be just fine if your pee gets on it. happens to me all the time.

funny thing.. I came to look at these answers cuzz im using a tampon 4 the first tyme.. I just went to the washroom and I didnt know what to do.. soo I removed it and re-placed it afterwards…thankz 4 the advice girls..and what do guys know..if guys had this situation 2 deal with Lol oh we gals would be chyllin ..

Because tampons make your cycle irregular, and you cramp more with them, I try my best not to even wear them. But I agree with Monica- no u dont have to change it. Its a string, and a spot of pee will not make it change, or shift, or slide, nor will it feel uncomfortable. Its actually up to you, and you can do whatever you want.

Usually during the time a tampon is in place, guys won’t be visiting that area. So it doesn’t really matter what a guy thinks. It is more about your comfort level and good hygiene.

NOT TO WORRY I ALWAYS JUST USE A LITTLE TOILET PAPER TO KIND OF DRY IT OFF… IT IS TO MUCH TO KEEP CHANGING IT
