Should I get a stomach surface piercing?

Hey guys, 

               Does anyone here have a surface piercing? I was thinking of getting the one just under my belly button going across (horizontally) only...I cant decide. lol  A mate told me it was not worth it because they grow out...and get caught on everything but my belly bar doesnt so im not sure if this one would. Also whats its like with cleaning? Is it easy to get infected? Cheers for any advice or stories you have about it xXx

I have my bellybutton and two vertical surfaces done underneath it. they are awesome piercings and I havent had any issues with healing them, they each only took about 2-3 weeks and all redness was completely gone. my belly button and second surface dont get caught easy on my clothes…but my 3rd one does as it is quite low. but all in all I love them :) dont regret them at all and they look great!! they can get infected like any other piercing…just remember to keep your hands off of it when you first get it done…and maybe wear lower cut pants until it heals so it doesnt aggrivate the healing process.
