No. You can want to be anything you want. there are many types of models, so don’t think you need to be a specific type to be successful.

I don’t see why not? :) All you need to do is believe in yourself – you’re going for something within reach – trust me.

No its not stupid at all. You can always do it as a side job while you go to college to get a career and if your modelling takes off you can rely on that for some time. Models are looked up to and many people find the beautiful and there is nothing wrong with wanting people to look at you and think you are beautiful. It will increase your self esteem, as long as you dont try to starve yourself to be extremely skinny. I mean you are beautiful and im sure you can get a modelling job somewhere if you really wanted to but i wouldnt drop your life to try to be a model because the chances of being successful enough to sustain your life is like trying to become an actor, its slim.

This isn’t meant to sound mean but do you really have the confidance to get into the field? If you think it’s tough now having people pick you apart bit by bit is going to break you. It’s not an easy industry to get into at all.

Nah, I kinda want to, too. But the tough part is getting picked apart saying you’re not skinny enough, you’re hair’s too blehh, you have a pimple and all that crap. I don’t know if I could do that part xD just make sure you’re prepared for what’s coming…

Modeling is a test of beauty and being skinny many cases lead to be annorexic or bulimia but it is a great job and has many oppurtunities.

Its only foolish if you do not have a backup plan. You know, just in case modeling doesn’t work our, or its not at all what you thought it was.

Sometimes people don’t have the luxury of staying in school. Its not always a matter of simply “knowing better”.

Models are the door mats in fashion industry. Everyone will stomp on you. And you don’t really earn a lot, considering that you’ll be out of business in no time, because you’ll be too old for their standards.

Learn something that you like and that you can do for life. If you want to work with fashion, be a dressmaker.

dream big, have faith, be strong, love what you love, do what you want, have confidence and if thats what you want i’m sure you can do it, be strong love yourself and you will do it!

It is never stupid to want to be something. If you want to be a model, that is not stupid. All I can see if your face and you are much prettier than a young lady I met many years ago who modeled girls clothes.

If you want to be a model, research the local modeling jobs. You may have to travel 30 miles but there are all kinds of models. Some people only model their hands.
