How to straighten hair without using a hair straightener?

cuz…mom wont let me use one :P

Answer #1

Why won’t she let you use one? I’m pretty sure there is no other way to straighten it and have it last the whole day.

Answer #2

there is some shampoo that sorta straightens your hair but thats it theres not really another way

Answer #3

Ummm well you could go to the domicians and get a blow out :D or you could use a hot comb and straighten it that way :D

Answer #4

You could try using the blow dryer and then using hair spray, works or me!

Answer #5

Uhmm sleep with a low pony tail and tie the ending too?(:

Answer #6

The only way I can think is to blow dry it straight. You have to be brushing it straight while you blow dry it (starting out wet/semi-wet and ending dry) and then use hair spray to keep in place for the day. Thats what i did until I could afford a good straightener. It works but it is kinda time consuming and you need to make sure you use lots of heat protection because using that much heart on your hair everyday will really dry it out. I’m sure you could find some youtude videos on it. Also, you can buy products to put in your hair that will keep it straight for for many washes after you blow dry it straight. Garnier Fructis has one. You can also get your hair chemically straightened at the hair dresser.

But really, there is no natural way to achieve straight hair so if you want a hair friendly solution I would just find another way you like to wear your hair.

Answer #7

For so many washes* meaning a certain amount. Sorry. :P

Answer #8

You could iron your hair. Apparently people used to do that in the sixties…but I don’t recommended it…

Answer #9

you can dry hair then use a flat iron.
