How do you stop your pits from sweating so much?

I ruin a bunch of my good shirts and i’m afraid to lift up my arms because I sweat SO much! Even if i’m not working out or even moving!! Are there any ways to stop this or atleast bring it down a little bit?

Answer #1

wear deoderant

Answer #2

Really? Deadorant doesn’t exactly help with sweating.. if it did, I wouldn’t be asking this question.

Answer #3

Try anti persperant and deodorant combo

Answer #4

Anti perperant stops sweating and deodorant stops u from smelling

Answer #5

Yeah, it’s not so much the smelling part. I mean I wear deoderant to smell good, it’s just the sweating is terrible. But i’ll keep anti persperant in my head, thanks :3

Answer #6

I wud get the combo u can get them wear they r together in one

Answer #7

Make sure you are using an anti-perspirant. Anti-perspirant deodorants are made to help deal with sweat. I used to use a brand called Mitchum, because when I was younger I used to sweat alot mostly because of nerves. It was really effective for me so wouldn’t hurt to give it a try :)

I should refresh my page before I submit my answers lol, sorry :D

Try a product call “Drysol”. It’s can be purchased at the drug store (you usually have to ask the pharmacist) or online. I used to have issues with sweating due to stress, and after a few days of using Drysol it cleared right up. You put it on at night (be forewarned it does burn), and it does its magic then. I haven’t needed to use it in years (each person would have different requirements for how long they need to use it). Trust me, it’s awesome! I used to completely sweat through my sweaters just driving to work, but after a few applications all of that cleared right up. I now just use regular deodorant. Good luck!!

anti persperant, and also if you wear clothing that is a little baggy under the arms, it lets the air ciruclate and stay cool.. if both these things dont work and your reallllyy irratated by it, theres a needle the doctor or derm or whoever that deals with that, and it tightens your sweat glands so you dont sweat as much in that area

Answer #11

Lol its cool :-)

Answer #13

Try ‘Certain Dri’. It’s a anti-antiperspirant, doctor recommended… & amazing, haha. It’s about 6 or 7 dollars :) If you want to see what people’s experiences with this product are, go here: http://funadvice.com/r/bgnjgdnnr9r

Answer #14

well….deoderant i know doesnt work for some people.including me.. its definetly important to wear an antipersperant, but another point to make is diet and lifestyle. i used to sweat alot more than i do now. and weight is an important factor.if youre overweight your body produces more heat, and works harder to maintain homeostasis.its important to exercise regularly in order to stay healthy.another thing you can do is slightly releive yourself of the amount of water you take in.wearing light clothing is important too.if youre wearing gloves or thick socks, your body temp is gonna rise.and i think most importantly…stay calm.the more you freak out the more nervous you get,the moreyou sweat.

Answer #15

Thanks! :)

Answer #16

Thankyou!

Answer #17

Take showers & dry your underarms afterwards . Then make sure you put even amounts of deodarant on your underarms . For example , if you put it on 3 times on one pit , do the same for the other .

Answer #18

try different products but also make sure you are eating super healthy foods. The healthier you do the less you will sweat. I went on the raw food diet for two months and I didnt need deodorant at all
